The World At Large.

Fri Feb 20, 2009, 7:07 AM
Ice age heat wave, can't complain.
If the world's at large, why should I remain?
Walked away to another plan.
Gonna find another place, maybe one I can stand.
...
The days get shorter and the nights get cold.
I like the autumn, but this place is getting old.
I pack up my belongings and I head for the coast.
It might not be a lot but I feel like I'm making the most.
The days get longer and the nights smell green.
I guess it's not surprising, but it's spring and I should leave.

Oh, yes.
Just because you told me to entertain you, I will stop everything I am doing and appease you.

Haha, no. But seriously. I'll tell you about yesterday with Dannykins.

We went HOMECOMING DRESS SHOPPING! We drove up to PPM, and went into Nordstrom. One of the first dresses I picked up was like, 300 dollars, and after that, Danny loudly complained about the prices there, and I was all "OMG DAN SHUT UP. IT'S NORDSTROM." And he was all like "You can get the same freaking things at JCPenney for less money. I hope the owner of Nordstrom hears me, blahblah." So then, we went to JCPenney, and on the way, I had to pass by the Bath and Body Works store twice to inhale the aroma wafting from the store. We went to JCPenney, I tried on some dresses, and they were kinda "eh." They had a very limited selection. I didn't find THE ONE, so we moved on (Danny said I looked prettyful, but I was all like "Goddamn, I hate being FAT. It was funny). We then proceeded to browse around Macy's. I was determined to find a red dress (I'm sure you can figure out why). Red IS a power color, you know. So, I tried on a bajillion dresses, and settled on this really bold number (bright scarlet, short, strapless dress with a bubble hem skirt thingy. It was hawt.) You'll have to see it sometime. But then *GASP*!!! They didn't have my size! So we went to the service desk and the nice Chinese lady called the Macy's in Warwick and had them hold the dress in my size for me. And then she was all like, "Go on the Macy's website and tell them that I'm super." I still need to do that, 'cause she was veryvery nice. Then we went to Macy's in Warwick, picked up the dress and fell asleep in the car on the way home. And THEN I got to thinking, Homecoming's such a waste. Y'know, seeing as I don't have any real friends, and I'm just going to be there with my boyfriend. And getting ready with friends is kind of half the fun. It'll be kind of awkward, since he really doesn't want to go unless I go. So, uh. Yeah. Now after all that, I'm totally contemplating ditching the dance.

Okay, I'm done ^_^

Wow, that was an epic reply!
and I'm happy to say you have entertained me fully! haha
seriously though, I love Dan, he would say that in Nordstroms..I'd probably have dropped dead if I was there when that happened
however, we now have a very serious problem: I am dying to see your dress! hang out? this week? yes? it sounds killer :)
finally, if you want we can all get ready before, i still hafta decide who I'm asking (I think I got a good idea though) but I asked to get off work early so I can go so if you wanna get ready together I'm totally down for that (makeup, hair, the whole nine yards haha) and please don't ditch the dance, you and Dan are really the only reason I'm going ;)
